The Game wanted to respond to the Sean Bell case and speaks his mind in this video.  He talks a lot about the elections and the American "dream". How could you murder someone on the way to his wedding?

If you didn’t catch it, he and the people in the video have on the makeup from the movie "Dead Presidents".

Republican’s Play on Dems fears towards Obama

As big and small campaigns pick up around the country Republicans have found a scape goat in Obama.  A number of republican political ads, not just for the presidential primaries, around the country are coming at Obama’s neck to downplay democrat candidates or to play up Republican candidates.  As the ads roll out, Democrats are questioning Obama’s viability as a candidate more and more.  Additionally, with the Republicans picking on Obama, Clinton can breathe a little easier, can’t she?  The Republicans are appealing to the fears that might result in Clinton winning the nomination as a default in hopes that she will be more likely to win against McCain in November.  Which might be the very thing that the Republicans are hoping for, as well.  Remember when a few key Republicans mentioned that they thought Clinton would be more beatable in the long run?  Here are a few of the ads Republican groups are running.

Michael Moore had something to say: PA didn’t listen

Michael_moore
Which super liberal do we love most?  Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine), Aaron McGruder(Boondocks), John Stewart (The Daily Show)?  Its really a toss up.  I mean, the daddy of the controversial comic strip, the daddy of the political expose comedy-documentary, the daddy of comedy political news shows.  Maybe it doesn’t matter because they really are coming from different places, but right now I’m really feelin’ Michael Moore (not like that, though).  Last week, as the Pennsylvania primary was nearing, Moore sent out a serious appeal for PA residents to vote for Obama.  Good job, PA, for failing Michael Moore.  Gotta love when these guys drop knowledge like this.  Read Moore’s letter:

McCain condemns Bush for Hurricane Katrina

It seems like that even though McCain has sworn that he respects Bush and thinks that he has done a good job in Iraq (whatever) in many of the areas where Bush obviously failed, McCain is either distancing himself from Bush or campaigning on the idea that he would be a Republican who would do it differently than Bush did.

Most recently McCain was down in New Orleans touring the 9th Ward, the area of New Orleans that was hit the hardest by the broken levees caused by Hurricane Katrina and the area where the residents are mostly African-American.  McCain says that Bush handled the whole ordeal very poorly (no, duh) and that he would have done a lot of things better.  This seems unlikely considering that he supports troops continued presence in Iraq and the current Homeland Security state, which are really the two things that funneled most of the money away from FEMA, crippling the government organization to the point that it was unable to properly respond to Katrina.  The only thing that McCain assured that he would have done differently is instead of flying over the area to view the devastation from the comfort and security of Air Force One, as Bush did, he would have landed and viewed the devastation close up.  I suppose that is what he was doing with this tour, but it seemed more like a publicity opportunity to portray McCain as the caring guy that Bush wasn’t.  There was little talk of future action for repairing the continued affects of Katrina in the 9th Ward.  For that matter, he didn’t even visit the lower 9th Ward, the poorest and the least fixed area of New Orleans that is still susceptible to devastation because the levees are not nearly fixed; there’s still not enough money.

Also, McCain seemed unsure whether he would opt for rebuilding the lower 9th Ward, saying "That is why we need to go back to have a conversation about what to do -rebuild it, tear it down…"  Is tearing it down even an option?  Don’t people live there?  Sounds a little shady and Bush-like.  Hm?

Jason Kidd Ejected for a Flagrant 2

Dallas point guard, Jason Kidd fouled the hell out of Jannero Pargo in the fourth quarter of Game 4 against New Orleans.

Pargo was driving to the basket on a fast break when Kidd sent his ass down to ground, hard. "I just tried to foul Pargo," Kidd said. "I wasn’t trying to hurt him and they called a flagrant two. … I was just trying to stop him from getting an easy layup." It looked bad but it didn’t look intentional, it was just a hard foul and definitely not worthy of getting kicked out the game for.
