Got damn! Kelis has reportedly filed for divorce from Nas. Apparently all the cheating and abuse is just too damn much and she's chucking the deuces. Earlier today a spokeswoman had this to say:

"I can confirm that she has filed for divorce. We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."

You know it's got to be pretty damn bad too if she's doing this while seven months pregnant with Nas' child. Damn, black love fails once again. Teardrop…for the unborn child.

Eva and her fine ass fiance Lance hit up the Next Day Air movie screening yesterday in L.A. She showed up with long hair which is quite a change from her normally short cropped hair.

Me likey, although I think they coulda done a better job at the hairline..what do you guys think? Yay or Nay??

This past weekend, Rihanna attended the Reggae on the Hill festival in Barbados. During the show, Beenie Man put Rihanna on blast in front of her hometown. While singing his version of Umbrella, he sang the following:

Me no have no fancy car, but me nah give you no scar.”

Damn, that ain't right. Rihanna's not my favorite person in the world but damn she is trying to portray the image of moving forward so that had to hit her hard. She tried to play along at first but obviously didn't find it funny because in the below video, she walked straight off the stage.

On the other had tho, this situation is forever going to be associated with her so she better learn to handle it. I'm almost sure, Jim Foxx or Katt Williams or whoever will be making fun of it all at the next MTV awards show.

Chris Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos is pushing for the double felony case against Chris to be dismissed completely based on the photo of Rihanna after the incident being leaked.

Yesterday, the premlinary hearing date was set for May 28th which means that Chris' camp has until then to investigate how the photo was leaked. If the police department turns to be at fault, Geragos will push for an immediate dismissal saying, "The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dimsiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct."

I hope that a cop was responsible for that photo getting leaked so that this can all be over with and everyone can continue with their lives. Can you imagine all the hooplah that was commence if this dude goes to trial?

 So listening to all the news about this Swine Flu is really starting to freak me out.  One – is the world coming  to an end starting with Mexico City?  A scary flu outbreak and an earthquake within a week?  Como se dice lightning strikes twice?  Two – an outbreak in Queens.  That is seriously about 10 subway stops from me.  There's already been about 40 cases (more than half in NY) and the current flu shot doesn't do a thing.  

This is pretty tough on the government right now, too.  I mean, Obama and his administration have barely been going 100 days and they've already got the Taliban wildin out in Afghanistan, North Korea trying to shoot off missiles, and now a deadly flu virus jumping around the continent?

So Beyonce and Jay-Z pretty much make me sick. Well not really but damn, could they be any cuter?? They were spotted last Friday, April 24th leaving the Waverly Inn where they had dinner and Jay pretended to block the paparazzi from taking pictures of his Bey. These two look so friggin happy. Perhaps black love really does exist…

 Damn, can I get a Jay-Z?

In other news, Bey's movie Obsessed is currently #1 in the box office after hitting theatres this past weekend. It beat out Fighting and Jamie Foxx's movie, The Soloist.

I haven't gotten a chance to see the movie yet because I was busy partying it up at Penn Relays this weekend but I hear it's been getting mixed reviews. I'm definitely seeing it sometime this week though.

UPDATE: Whew, it was a wig! Kim updated her Twitter and let everyone know that she used the wig for a photoshoot and liked it so much that she never took it off and went for a walk in NYC to see how many people she could fool. Yay!

Kim Kardashian ditched her gorgeous dark hair for some less then stellar blonde hair. I dunno why these chicks think this is an upgrade but it's not. Granted, it's nowhere near as bad as Christina Milian's botch job but Kim looks waaay better/more exotic with her dark shiny locks.
