Rihanna has landed a role in a new movie called Personal Protection(ironic, I know). The film starts production later this year and until then, Rihanna has enrolled herself into some acting classes in NY…good idea Rih Rih.

Since Rihanna will now be spending so much time on the east coast, she has rented an $18,000 a month penthouse apartment on Greene Street in SoHo.

The apartment is 2,300 sqft and features 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and was orginally listed on the market for $22,000/month. There is also a 500 sqft terrace which she will put up a tent to block out the infamous paparazzi.

Chris Brown and Bow Wow did a live stream video via Bow Wow's twitter page the other night where Chris addressed the haters and told folks that "he's no monster."

Chris also mentioned that he's working on his next album, Graffiti, and to expect a new single from him this summer.

Obama's choice?  Federal appellate judge Sonia Sotomayor… and yes… that is a Spanish name. She is Puerto Rican.  Sotomayor would be the first Hispanic American justice.  The diversity Sotomayer introduces doesn't just come from the fact that she is a woman and a minority.  Sotomayor has a very different story from most of Washington politics and the other justices.  For example, she grew up in housing projects in South Bronx, which, no matter how you feel about her politics, will bring a new dimension to the highest court in the land.  Told you Obama was at it again.

Sotomayor would be replacing Judge David Souter, who is on the liberal side.  Sotomayor also leans liberal, but has been known to vote conservative, which supporters say indicates that she votes based on her conscience and her understanding of the law.  With 16 years as a federal judge she is more than qualified. So, whether she gets confirmed or not, props to her.  Sotomayor has literally reached the top of her career.  Get em girl!

Geez it's about damn time. Chris Brown was spotted at game 3 of the Orlando/Cavaliers East Conference Finals series this weekend alongside Usher. Good to see Chris back in the public again and also to see that Usher's comments regarding the Rihanna situation have not soured their friendship.
