Barbie Girl in Candy World
Barbie has had whirl wind season! She's been celebrating her 50th birthday all over the country with more parties than Paris Hilton and she had a whole tribute fashion show dedicated to her during NY Fashion Week in February. Even though that broad is getting up there in age nothing slows her down and she has no issue being around kids.
In fact she is doing an event that benefits New Yorkers for Children and that is also launching her new candy line. Now Barbie, being the savvy girl that she is, isn't going to have her candy just anywhere. It has to be exclusive so her line will be at Dylan's Candy Bar and it will be called "Barbie Loves Dylans." Of course, we know that is not completely true because Barbie has eaten little more than salad and growth hormones for the last 50 years to maintain her figure, but she does love to have fun and, being educated in the fields of acting, business, medicine, veterinary, dancing, cooking, scuba diving, decorating, housekeeping, design, education, life guarding etc., Barbie knows a good opportunity when she sees one.
Barbie is inviting girls of any age to partake in the fun of the launch of "Barbie Loves Dylan's" on Sunday, May 3rd from 12pm – 3pm at the Dylan's Candy Bar on 60th and 3rd, just in time for Mother's Day. There will be pink and Barbie themed treat, prizes, and games. Even though Barbie isn't a mother herself, she has a ton of little sisters of the same ambiguous birth so she knows what types of things mothers and daughters might like doing together.
